As another term ends here’s a lesson covering the A – Z of looking cool!

Our A – Z of all things fashion ensure you will look great in term time as well as the summer holidays. So hands up - who wants to include ‘fashion’ in their timetable?

A - Apple Watch – no self-respecting celebrity will be seen without Apple’s most personal device yet.
B - Bright – there’s no room for shrinking violets this summer get out there and think ‘all things bright and beautiful’.
C - Culottes – a great alternative to a skirt, culottes are an easy-to-wear summer basic.
D - Denim jacket – your key buy this season, have a look in your wardrobe you may have one in there already.
E - Ear-rings or Ear-cuffs – a fashion staple - whether you have pierced ears or not, then the Ear-cuff is the cool-at-any age answer.
F - Fuller figure – embrace your curves ladies, this is your time! Be very Rebel Wilson and check out fashion forward designs for size 14 to 32 from Evans.
G - Gothic pretty – rock a lace dress with black bomber or leather jacket.
H - Handbag stickers – bag adornments are a great way to update a tired looking tote. This season it’s all about stickers to show your personal style.
I - Instagram – a great way to find fashionable inspiration and up-to-the-minute trends.
J - Jumpsuits – lots of grown up styles in the High Street. They are just as versatile for day as they are for evening.
K - Kimono – take inspiration from the Far East. It should be top of your holiday list as it could double up as a chic poolside cover-up.
L - Longer skirts – our legs don’t need to be so ‘summer’ ready – longer skirts will hide a multitude of sins in the leg department.
M - Maxi – for all of you who can never find the right shoes for summer, the maxi has got to be the answer. Wear with gladiators or sparkly flip flops and you are sorted.
N - Navy – this season’s fashion staple or neutral that goes with everything. Invest in trousers and skirts to mix and match with your colourful fashion buys.
O - Open-front skirts – from mini, to midi, to maxi – the split skirt is the one to wear. Totally impractical but when has fashion been practical?
P - Pattern – florals blossom in a mixed bouquet with a far eastern twist. Wear as separates or pair together for high-impact dressing.
Q  - Quintessentially British – Q was always a tough one to think of a word for at school – so I’m going with championing Quintessentially British design and manufacture. Marks and Spencer best of British collection is in its second year – check it out.
R - Rucksack – no longer for walking up mountains, the rucksack is the alternative to the traditional handbag. Choose leather in a structured shape for a smart grown-up look.
S - Swimsuit – unless you have a figure to die for, then a show stopper swimsuit is for you. Spend as much as you can afford and buy one in your best colour to look cool by the pool.
T - Tassels – or fringes, embrace the bohemian trend with tassels on your jacket, skirt or bag. Check out the suede trend too, it’s well worth the slightly higher price tag.
U - Undergarments – commonly known as bra and knickers. 80% of women are wearing the wrong bra size – make this the summer you get measured professionally.
V - VPL – what you wear under your clothes is as important as the clothes themselves. Make sure your knicker lines doesn’t show in those fabulous new trousers.
W - White - so feminine and flattering especially when you have a tan. Soft white is the most flattering.
X - X-tra special – we all owe it to ourselves to feel x-tra special, treat yourself - you deserve it.
Y - Yellow – not the easiest colour to wear, but everywhere in the shops. Ensure you have a warm skin tone to look good in this sunshine colour.
Z - Zandra Rhodes – got you there didn’t I? Were you thinking what will she say about Z? A style inspiration for years Zandra Rhodes vibrant kaftans look as great on the beach and they do with jeans.

Class dismissed!
