After more than 36 years working in the NHS, including a 30-year career in dermatology, I have dedicated my professional life to supporting people through some of their most challenging and vulnerable moments. Working closely with individuals affected by skin diseases , including skin cancer, and hair loss has given me a deep understanding of the emotional impact that changes in appearance can have on confidence, self-esteem, and overall well being.
As a colour Consultant, I am passionate about helping people rediscover their confidence and see themselves in a positive new light.
I believe that colour has the power to uplift, inspire, and transform how we feel about ourselves.
My goal is to provide a welcoming and supportive experience where clients can embrace their individuality, enhance their natural beauty, and regain a sense of confidence – in particular following a cancer diagnosis or other life-changing experiences, including menopause.
To this end I run small group sessions in 2 local community hubs where I cover the Express colour experience along with the opportunity to discuss hair and skin changes associated with cancer treatment.
I also volunteer for Head-wrappers, in association with Look good feel better, to offer alternative suggestions to wigs , and this has informed my knowledge and skills.
To support my volunteer work I would be delighted to provide paid group sessions ,in various formats, in corporate and domestic settings where well being is a focus.
It is a privilege to combine my healthcare background with my love of colour and style, helping people not only look their best but also feel empowered, resilient, and confident in who they are.
I offer the following services for both women and men:
