If you think our consultants are stuck in the 80s wearing over-sized shoulder pads, power suits, huge necklaces and coiffed hair, think again. These days we take a very modern approach to colour (and style) and that goes for our consultants too. We caught up with Jill Clark award winning consultant and CMB trainer who operates her business in and around the Bury area. 

When did you have your colours done Jill?
So I had my colours done in 2001.

Do you have a favourite shade?
My favourite colour is light periwinkle.

What is your style personality?
My style personality is evolving as my height confidence improves. I started off as very natural but am becoming more dramatic as the years continue.

How do you dress on a daily basis?
The way I dress on a daily basis varies with my mood but I love to accessorise outfits with statement jewellery, shoes and handbags.CMB has helped me to understand how to dress to make the most of my height. I have made simple changes like colour blocking, using texture and the size of patterns to balance my scale.

Why did you choose to train with colour me beautiful?
CMB changed my life, when I had my colours done, it was like someone switching on a lightbulb for me as it made me accept my height and actually celebrate it for the first time in my life. I knew very soon afterwards that I wanted to in-still that confidence in others and there really wasn’t any doubt for me that CMB was the right fit for my training. I’m so proud to now be a trainer for CMB and am working tirelessly to promote a positive height message for men, women and children who might be battling with their inner height demons. What is the best thing about your job?
My “job” isn’t really like any other! It’s not work to me, it’s a lifestyle. I’m never happier than when I’m promoting a positive body image to whoever walks through my door whether that’s through colour analysis, style analysis, makeup application or all three. I feel extremely lucky to work alongside all the talented team at colour me beautiful.
